Food Safety - Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering
Validated by Highfield Awarding Body of Compliance (HABC), this qualification is designed for those working in all food businesses in roles such as supervisors and team leaders.
This course will make candidates aware of their role in the implementation of food safety procedures at all stages of food preparation and service, together with the importance of their role in the supervision of food handlers in food safety matters.
The course covers the following modules:
Temperature control (chilling and cooking)
Applying and monitoring good hygiene practice
Implementing good food safety procedures and contributing to the safety training of others
